The AGROMART Group offers a number of IP programs through various marketing partners and channels depending the crop and the AGROMART's location. The AGROMART Group also offers IP Food Soybean contracts and non-GMO seed soybean production contracts through our soybean processing, marketing and export business - AGROMART Processing Company Inc.
Established in 2001, AGROMART Processing Company, Inc., is a joint venture between 12 of The AGROMART Group companies and Marubeni Corp., Nisshin Oillio, and Nisshin Logistics of Japan. The AGROMART Group of companies offer production contracts for IP Food Grade Soybeans (or non-GMO pedigree seed soybeans) to their "Farmer" customers and the Japanese group market the product to their "end-use" customers. The AGROMART Processing company receives, cleans/processes, packages and exports the soybeans, and was setup to efficiently bring buyer and supplier together.
The processing facilites were designed to work in conjunction with an "on-farm" stored IP program. Most orders are filled by individual grower contract, or with a small number of individual growers to make up the booking to help ensure consistency, traceability and quality control. Samples are collected from each grower at harvest and again prior to processing to ensure that purity and non-GMO standards are met. Also, "streaming" samples from each lot are retained for one year, providing a completely traceable system back to individual grower and even back to the seed lot used to produce the growers crop. Only certified seed is used for our IP program, which helps to ensure that variety characteristics are maintained for the end-use buyer.
